Pray or Prey?

Did you know that prayer is not only a part of following Christ, it is proactive for your life?

Notice how we pray when tragedy hits in our country? What would happen if we consistently prayed, not only for protection from us attacking each other but prayers against the enemy attacking our minds? When we accept the thoughts the enemy throws in our minds, we have accepted the seeds of a lie. Every action begins with a thought . A killer did not kill until he thought about it. And if you continue with evil thoughts and actions, it’s easy to become a part of your life…all because of a wicked thought planted in your mind that you didn’t cast away in prayer.

Sow a thought, reap an action. Sow an action, reap a habit. Sow a habit, reap a character. Sow a character, reap a destiny.

God has given you an assignment…yes YOU. And the assignment is for good, not evil. One of my favorite pastors, – Dr. Matthew Stevenson – All Nations said, “Wherever there is an assignment, there is an attack. The more you know about your assignment, the faster you recover from an attack.” How do you play a part of preparing for an attack? How do you keep a covering over your life and the lives of others? PRAY! Yes, there is power in prayer AND when it is incorporated with renewing your mind in the word, Romans 12:1-2, you are inviting the power of God in your life to guard and fight against the enemy and his determination to steal, kill and destroy…

To sum it up from my pastor, Bishop Hockett: “If you don’t pray, you become prey”. Thanks Bishop!

Now, I am asking you to take the challenge, not to just pray for yourself and others verbally but additionally respond in prayer with the word on every tragedy, challenge or problem that concerns you on social media AND if you desire prayer of agreement according to God’s word, tag me! I would love to pray with you! Take the challenge and let’s see God work!!!
