New shoes? New house? New job? New car? New love?
New things in life bring such a fresh awakening of God’s kindness and His glory. With every new beginning there is expectancy. Guess who isn’t new? God. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. BUT because He is eternal, there is no way you will know all of the wonderful things He has for you. To you, they are new. Did you know how much He gets a kick out of giving to you!? He has more than you can ever imagine or dream of…yes, for YOU!
For some, it may not feel like God is good. I know.
The past SEVERAL years have been pretty rough. Sometimes I wondered if I was on punishment for something. In reality, life has its ups and downs. No matter who we are stuff just happens. Sometimes consequences of others and some consequences of our own actions.
No matter what, HE is with you. That’s a gift in itself! Looking back, I KNOW God was with me EVERY second of EVERY day. Therefore, I look forward to what He has planned for my life. Because no matter what, HE is there. He knows the plans He has for me…to prosper…yes, as my soul prospers. Jeremiah 29:11 and 3 John 1:2. The more I build my relationship with Him, the greater my future. Each day is a new beginning of all He has for me and YOU...new beginnings that we have yet to experience to joyfully glorify Him. It never gets old. Lamentations 3:23
