We spend the bulk of our lives trying figure out where we fit in and how to maintain that fit.
I remember several friends saying to me a two word phrase that stuck with me.
We are inundated with ads, television shows, magazines and more telling us how we should be. SERIOUSLY??? What's the point of looking, acting, talking, breathing and being like someone else? If that were the case, one of you is obsolete!
Copying someone else's life adds to the challenge of finding your own niche. Find your niche.
We need YOU more than you know. You are of great value. If you don't know it, you should. Have you thought about it? Sometimes we get started then...we...eventually.
Stop. By the way, another great quote I truly love is...
"Never, ever, ever, give up!"
Never assume your job is taken. Take the next step toward learning about the closest person to you. YOU! Do not allow others to examine you through their judgment lens and accept who they say you are...check the next mirror. Ask THAT person. TELL that person in the mirror to research themselves. Ask that person in the mirror as many questions as possible.
Who am I?
Why am I here?
What makes me angry...SERIOUSLY angry?
What brings me joy?
What is it that you like to do and time just flies by when you're doing it? Painting? Running? Writing? Teaching?
What did you dream about doing when you were a child?
If there was one thing you could to change the world to a better place, what would it be? How will you do it? Where will you start?
What are you waiting on? Who are you waiting on?
Better check your mirror. Don't toss the journey because you're afraid of the destination. And don't disregard the destination because you're not sure about the journey. Here's an idea that will work for anyone... Ready? Set?
START, TODAY! (I can feel the joy kickin' in as you hit the 'start button) GO!
